i’ve been thinking about james bond a lot lately and you know, everything really came together in 1995 after a six year gap that followed two unimpressive bond films (poor dalton) EON hired pierce brosnan (who i love) as bond and dame judi dench as M (she’s perfect as fuck) and then made a movie with a really solid story, some fantastic other actors (sean bean, alan cumming, robbie coltrane, etc.), and a video game tie in that is widely regarded as one of the best fps of all time add to all that that it was one of desmond llewelyn’s last roles as Q (what i mean was that llewelyn was still alive) you have yourself a really rather perfect film GoldenEye: my third favorite movie of all time
